I have gazed upon these realms for centuries now and the one thing that has endured and gainer power throughout my time is the Arcane Arts. I have dedicated my life to its study, its secrets, and of course its power. Within these pages I leave you with all the spells you too can learn to cast, to use to strike your foes down, to protect yourself from bodily harm whilst in combat, and to make everyday life and tasks easier. As you gain experience you can devote this to your studies and advancement of your own power. If you are deemed worthy enough then you will be taught the secrets to unraveling the frame of magic and focusing in your mind in the form of a new spell.

Let the fools who use fighting as a way of life die by that way with a sword rammed through their chest, they are not intelligent enough to succeed in life by anything else. Let the elementalists toy with sparks of flame or gusts of wind, they are not refined enough to master the true and graceful art that sorcery is meant to be. Let the occultists use their pitiful little demons do their fighting for them, even their demons cannot stop your magic. And let those who steal for a living be condemned to a life of forever being hunted down for being branded a thief. You are the true masters of magic and you are the true power of the realms.
